Rules and expectations

Code of conduct

SpacSec 2026 is a professional scientific event. Participants are expected to maintain respectful and constructive communication throughout the conference.

The organizing and program committees reserve the right to respond to disruptive or inappropriate behavior in line with the academic standards of the event.

Research ethics and originality

Submissions must be original, scientifically substantial, and previously unpublished.

Authors are responsible for the scientific integrity, legal compliance, and ethical basis of submitted work.

AI and LLM use

Artificial intelligence and machine learning, including large language models, are recognized conference research areas.

If these methods are used within the research contribution, their role should be disclosed transparently and responsibly.

Privacy and communication

The conference uses the official mailbox spacsec@itmo.ru for organizational communication.

Registered participants and speakers receive operational and remote-access instructions through official conference channels.

Accessibility and support

Participants needing accessibility support or logistical assistance should contact spacsec@itmo.ru.

Detailed venue accessibility guidance will be published closer to the conference dates.

Publication and presentation requirements

Accepted papers are planned for publication in Springer CCIS with subsequent submission for indexing in Scopus and Web of Science.

Presentation at the conference is mandatory for indexing of accepted papers.
