Author revisions
What should authors of conditionally accepted papers upload?
Upload the revised manuscript to EasyChair by 4 September 2026. At the end of the paper, include a point-by-point list of the reviewers' remarks and your responses, identifying the corresponding revisions.
When will the final paper decision be made?
Final decisions will be issued on 18 September 2026 following meta-review of the revised papers. Each decision depends on how completely the revision addresses the reviewers' remarks.
Submission
How are papers submitted?
Paper handling runs through EasyChair at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=spacsec2026, including uploads of revised versions.
Has the initial full paper submission deadline passed?
Yes. The initial full paper submission deadline was 6 July 2026, and initial paper decisions were issued on 15 August 2026.
In which language should papers be submitted?
All papers must be submitted in English.
Are original and unpublished papers required?
Yes. Only original and previously unpublished papers are accepted.
Publication
How are papers reviewed?
Peer review is carried out by the Program Committee. Revised, conditionally accepted papers undergo meta-review before the final decision.
What is the planned proceedings venue?
Papers that receive final acceptance are planned for publication in Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS), with proceedings submitted for indexing in Scopus and Web of Science.
What is required for an accepted paper to be published?
All conditions must be met: at least one author is registered for the conference; the expert opinion on the possibility of publication is submitted by 24 September 2026; the participation fee is paid by 12 October 2026; the paper is presented at the conference.
Where should the expert opinion on the possibility of publication be sent?
Send the expert opinion to spacsec@itmo.ru by 24 September 2026.
Registration
When is the participation fee payment deadline?
The participation fee must be paid by 12 October 2026. The fees are 20 000 RUB for CIS countries (including Russia) and 100 USD for other countries.
When will payment information be available?
Payment information will be provided by October 5.
Hybrid attendance
Will the conference be hybrid?
Yes. SpacSec 2026 will be held in a hybrid format, with both on-site and remote participation.
How will remote participants get access links?
Remote links are sent to speakers and registered participants and are also available on spacsec.com and spacsec.itmo.ru (mirror).
Venue
Where will the conference take place?
The venue is ITMO University, 14A Pesochnaya Embankment, Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Presentations
Which languages can be used for presentations and slides?
Official languages of the conference are both English and Russian. Authors may use both languages for their presentation during the conference, slides should be provided in English.
