Submission
Is paper submission already open?
No. The submission portal is not open yet. The live link and detailed instructions will appear on the Submission page when the conference enables paper uploads.
What is the current full paper deadline?
The current planned full paper deadline is 25 May 2026. Check the Submission and Important Dates pages before relying on it in case the schedule changes.
In which language should papers be submitted?
All papers must be submitted in English.
Are original and unpublished papers required?
Yes. The organizing committee invites papers that are original, scientifically substantial, and previously unpublished.
Publication
How are papers reviewed?
Review and selection of papers are carried out by the program committee.
What is the planned proceedings venue?
Accepted papers are planned for publication in Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) and submission for indexing in Scopus and Web of Science.
Is conference presentation required for indexing?
Yes. Presentation at the conference is mandatory for indexing of the accepted paper in bibliometric databases.
Hybrid attendance
Will the conference be hybrid?
Yes. SpacSec 2026 will be held in a mixed on-site and remote format.
How will remote participants get access links?
Remote connection links will be distributed to speakers and registered participants and will also be available on the conference websites spacsec.com and spacsec.itmo.ru.

Where will the conference take place?
The venue is ITMO University, 14A Pesochnaya Embankment, Saint Petersburg, Russia.
